Code of conduct

As a member of Sarasota Archery Academy you are an ambassador of our club and for the archery community. Every member is expected to be above reproach as a representative of the team.

Safety- At no point will it ever be acceptable to compromise your own safety or another’s safety at any function or event. As a Sarasota Archery Academy member you are expected to adhere to all safety guidelines set forth by clubs, event locations, and governing bodies.

Respect- Given immediately to Judges, Coaches, Instructors, other members, and spectators. At no time will disrespectful behavior be tolerated.

Positive attitude- Tearing someone down in any way for any reason will not be tolerated. From the youngest to the oldest member, we are all here to build each other and the sport.

Commitment- Our yes means yes, and our no means no. We are building a community of integrity and trust.

Self control- Archery is about sport of self control. Controlling our emotions in difficult situations is mandatory. Outbursts will be addressed immediately.
